Indians love their cinema heroes when they incarnate villains, especially gangsters. Every small time Indian gangster (goonda) ultimately wants to make it big in the underworld. A carefully chosen wardrobe goes a long way in getting there. This collection draws inspiration from their unique way of mix and matching clothes which sets them apart from the classical way of dressing in India where prints usually match beautifully, leaving little space for a more individual styling. I have designed the prints which were carved into wooden blocks. A limited edition was produced using traditional hand block printing techniques from Rajasthan.
